Yes! We designed our tour to include samples of a variety of different style craft beer. We will sample four beers at both Hotel Oregon and Golden Valley Brewery, then three beers at Heater Allen Brewing. Sample size is about 5 ounces.
No. Our tours focus on the vibrant beer culture offered in McMinnville. We definitely cater to the beer drinker, but you do not have to be a beer drinker to enjoy the group experience or stories and history we share along the way. Our focus is you, and we’d like to provide an experience you will enjoy!

Non-Alcoholic Option: If you do not wish to drink alcohol during the tour, then please select the “Non-Alcoholic Beverage Participants” option when you schedule your tour. We will provide a non-alcoholic beverage to this participant type at each location.

Gluten-Free Options: Our tour prices include either beer samples or non-alcoholic beverage options. If you do not wish to participate in the beer sampling, but would still like to consume alcohol during the tour, then please select the full-price participant ticket. We will offer either cider or wine options at each location for this participant type.

If you are consuming alcohol during the tour, yes. We will be checking every guest’s identification at the start of each tour. You do not have to be 21 years old to join our tour. Our partnering establishments all allow under 21 patrons during the times we operate our tours. We offer a “Non-Alcoholic Beverage Participants” option for all our tours.
Rain is a given here in the Northwest, so we do not cancel tours on rainy days. We design our tours to have plenty of opportunities for guests to dry off and warm up with a beer inside our favorite pubs.

Tours will only be cancelled in hazardous weather conditions (such as a snowstorm) and you will be informed well before the start time of the tour. We do not provide umbrellas or rain attire at this time. Please dress appropriately and be prepared for weather!

All our tours are on foot and are a maximum distance of .6 mile (1 km) from the first brewery to the final brewery. Each leg between breweries is approximately .3 mile (.5 km). We start and end our tours seated inside our partnering pubs. The distance from the final brewery back to the original brewery is .5 or .6 mile (1km).

Our tour starts at Hotel Oregon and end at either Grain Station Brew Works (Monday through Thursday) or  Heater Allen Brewery (Friday only). The total distances are .5 mile (ending at Grain Station) or .6 mile (ending at Heater Allen).

In order to provide the best experience, we limit the capacity for each of our tours to 16 people. Please book tickets in advance as we do fill up!
